Empowering Communities

Our Story

NGF|MELISE FOUDATION

Rehema Lupakisyo Mwateba will turn 73 years old on 2nd December 2024. With a background of education and biological sciences since 1985, she has been working in collaboration with individuals and organisations that are passionately looking for ways to change from bad to better social and economic circumstances of Tanzanians.

My succession plan is that when I am too old to think and work or something happens to me my son’s will take over because the processing unit is family property. My children and workers shall follow my will. Melise Foundation will soon be relinquished to an executive director. I cannot hire any one at this moment because I don’t have money to pay salaries and fringe benefits.

In close association with Rehema Mwateba for over 22 years, Daines Elias besides being the institutional memory for productivity at new New Generation Farmers, she provided invaluable advice to part time young workers on work ethic and avoiding parenthood at an early age.
